ABOUT MALIN
London-based indie-folk artist Malin Andersson creates a unique sound that weaves together her Nordic heritage and global journeys. Guided by a deep curiosity for emotion and atmosphere, Malin writes songs that feel both deeply personal and quietly universal.
Her latest album, Space to Feel (2024), is a heartfelt exploration of living as a Highly Sensitive Person. Through spacious arrangements and tender, poetic storytelling, she invites listeners into a world where sensitivity is something to honour rather than hide. The album received strong support from BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio London, BBC Scotland, BBC Ulster, Radio X, and a range press including Euphoria Magazine, RnR Magazine, Songwriting Magazine, Fresh On The Net, Essentially Pop, and When the Horn Blows.
Malin recently travelled to Los Angeles, where she recorded a new five-track EP titled Seeking Something. The project, shaped by a period of personal transition and creative expansion, is set for release in early summer 2026. This new chapter builds on her growing reputation as a distinctive voice in the modern indie-folk landscape, while carving out new emotional and sonic territory.
“I’m a big fan of Malin Andersson, both her sound and her music. I also just love her thinking behind the songs” Eve Blair (The Late Show) / BBC Radio Ulster
“Hiding layers of complex emotion in plain sight, packaged up in deceivingly simple and stripped-back melodies is something Andersson has got down to a fine art. With an ambitious sophomore album in the making named Space To Feel, it’s exactly that ability we can’t wait to see more of!”
